In the early 60's cabaret clubs were booming, attracting some of the biggest names in show business. Unfortunately cabaret's reputation was tarnished and eventually through the 70's and 80's it became associated with working mens clubs and past it performers.
But cabaret should really be about sophistication and glamour for a discerning audience looking for light entertainment, not too loud to make conversation impossible. It's about some of the greatest music ever written delivered by experienced and polished entertainers.
