Lost Weekend

It's Sunday afternoon, 3:35pm and both Lisa and I are just finishing off an extended week in the Hireaband office. We've spent the time working on things we don't normally get to do during the week, so even though it's been hard work it's been almost fun.
We were notified last week that we've achieved British Franchise Association accreditation. Boy are they strict, but it means that we've been scrutinised, and that makes your eyes water, and are now provisionally listed with them. Now we have to get ready for what we expect to be an avalanche of enquiries for the various territories we have available.
It would be worth pointing out that the only territories available in Scotland are in Inverness and Aberdeen, but if you're in England, Northern Ireland or Wales then we'd be delighted to hear from you.
Our next wedding band showcase in October is shaping up to be our busiest ever autumn showcase. The line up is very strong so we think there will be a lot of happy couples after the show having secured one of the six great bands performing live.
I'm off tonight to judge the Scottish Comedian of the Year final at The Pavillion Theatre in Glasgow. So home for some roast beef then the train to Glasgow as I expect to indulge in a little whisky! There's every chance Heather, Karen and Lisa will be in before me tomorrow.
