Aware that not everyone is familiar with ceilidh dancing, band leader, Guy is an accomplished dance caller, bringing humour and fun to the art of describing dances and encouraging audiences on to the floor.
From the beautiful St. Bernard's Waltz to the foot-stomping Orkadian Strip The Willow, Loudon have demonstrated their lively repertoire at venues throughout Central Scotland, playing at all types of functions including weddings, graduation balls and corporate events.
The band also includes a disco service for clients wishing to provide a varied evening for their guests.
Although basically a three piece band The Loudon Ceilidh Band can reduce to a two piece or extend to a four piece (featuring second accordion) to suit all budgets.
