What can we say. The music at our wedding was fantastic and people found they struggled to get themselves off the dance floor because they wanted to stay up and dance to every track. The dance floor was not empty once and you catered for all ages - children to our more mature guests. You played the pieces that were important to us and your selection of dance music at our reception certainly ticked all the boxes including some tracks we had on our play list.
We would be very happy to recommend you to anyone else who is looking for someone who can create a great atmosphere and really make their evening go with a swing.
We will certainly be keeping hireaband in our list of important numbers.

Paul Binnie then did a DJ set afterwards and was also excellent. What was very impressive was that he managed to keep both the older and younger crowds on the dancefloor until the very end and a lot of people have commented on how he judged the tunes just right. Overall, both the Big Shoogle and Paul were great and really added to the occassion!

All the staff at Hireaband were very helpful throughout our dealings with them. Will certainly be recommending them to family and friends. Graeme Lacey was the DJ at our wedding on 4th June 2011. One word - Excellent! He was polite, friendly and extremely professional. He accomodated all of our bizarre requests. The dance floor was full all night (I have photos to prove it) and everyone's feet were sore the following day but no-one complained - it was worth it! His choice of music for the ceilidh was great and he played the reels more than once with various music so everyone could have a go.
He made our evening reception fantastic for us and all our guests.

The wedding was excellent and everybody loved our music. I didn't get to hear much of the Smooth Jazz Duo because we were having our photos taken outside for most of that, but so many people said it was a lovely touch of background music (not too quiet and not too loud) while they had a few drinks inside. What I heard of them was excellent. I hope our poor piper doesn't get a complex as our flower girl totally freaked out at him and wouldn't walk down the aisle at all!! And she likes the pipes too!!.. I think all the excitement was actually too much for her...And
Graeme (Lacey) called out our Ceilidh dances which was perfect and he got so many people up especially for "strip the willow" which was near the end.
It was a great day and I can't tell you enough how gratefull I was for your help especially Lisa Cotton at the beginning when I just didn't know where to start.

Ceilidh band (Loudon Ceilidh Band) were excellent as remarked upon by several guests and the DJs selection of music was also first class and adjusted to suitable volume. Guests had a very enjoyable evening and also commented on the quality of music selected by the DJ (
