Cheek To Cheek is an elegant, professional and experienced violin\guitar duo working throughout Scotland and further afield. Talented husband and wife team, Marcus and Trudie Ford, are two accomplished musicians who have been working together for over twenty years. 

They offer a wide variety of musical styles including classical, jazz and modern popular, which creates the perfect background ambiance for weddings. Ideal to keep your guests entertained before, during and after the wedding ceremony, their versatility means they are easily able to move between the ceremony and reception location.
 
Looking through a selection from their set list, you are sure to find something to cater for most tastes. Trudie is also a pianist and can accompany hymns if being used in the ceremony.

A wee bit of additional information

Marcus and Trudie originally met and studied at Dartington College of performing Arts in Devon England in 1982. They married soon after and moved to Scotland where they both work and live.

Trudie is a primary school teacher as well as teaching violin, piano and music theory privately. She performs in a number of visiting orchestras and ensembles in Scotland.

Marcus Ford has performed all over Europe with a number of groups including the Ritz Trio and award winning vocalist Niki King.  He is also one of Scotland’s leading solo fingerstyle jazz guitarists.
