Alex plays mainly jazz standards solo piano for up to 3 and a half hours. His repertoire also includes a few classical tunes and he has a 45 minute set of modern rock-pop tunes. He's happy to learn requests given enough notice.
If there is no piano at the venue, Alex can provide his own professional quality digital piano to your event.
Alternatively, Alex can arrange for the hire of an upright or grand piano.
Alex can play a maximum of 3 and a half hours of solo piano only requiring a 15 minute break per hour.
His extensive repertoire consists mainly of jazz standards (compositions by Ellington, Gershwin, Porter as well as Thelonious Monk, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock etc.)
He can also play a set of familiar rock/pop tunes by legendary acts like The Beatles, Nirvana, Radiohead etc.. as well as a small selection of classical pieces.
Alex plays weekly at The Tapestry in Putney and The Belvedere in Holland Park, London.
